Aubocassa, Mallorca D.O.P.

The Aubocassa is made from Arbequina olives, traditional in Catalonia, from the Roda family´s estate at Manacor, Mallorca.

Integrated farming means that minimal chemicals are used. Low yields and technological investment mean this is an expensive but very high quality oil. It is delicate, sweet, smooth and elegant, although slightly more robust than the Abbae, which is also pressed from Arbequina olives.

Attractive aromas of fresh green salad leaves and sharp apples give way to flavours of dried hay. There is little or no bitterness and pepper, and the after taste is sweetly nutty with just a touch of creamy fudge.
