Delicious Tapas in
South Kensington
Great Tapas, a carefully chosen list of Spanish wines and hand-carved Ibérico ham; we’ve created a little corner of Spain in the heart of South Kensington, London.
Light and airy and made up of rooms on different levels, Casa Brindisa is filled with items from our travels across Spain, from antique ceramic Tinajas, to agricultural equipment.
Classic Brindisa Tapas are joined by a Mediterranean-inspired menu, with dishes from the islands and coastline running from France to Almeria. Try a Mar y Muntanya dish of meatballs with cuttlefish; Esqueixada salad of salt-cod and fresh peppers or baby chicken with vegetables.
Weekend special: ¡Calçotada!
The Calçotada is celebrated across Catalunya from late winter to early spring, with weekend parties dedicated to cooking and eating Calçots, a member of the onion family. Calçots are usually barbecued, then dipped in a Salvitxada or Romesco sauce, made with toasted almonds, grilled tomatoes, ñora peppers, garlic, vinegar, olive oil and bread. Dip the sweet, charred calçot in the warm spicy sauce, tip your head back and try to eat in one: it can be messy! Wash down with Cava or red wine.
Enjoy them at Casa Brindisa and Tapas Brindisa Soho.
