Spanish Tapas all day long

Casa Brindisa is the home of some of our favourite Tapas dishes. 

Our menu is filled with all our classic Brindisa Tapas and our cured food plates, from Jamón Ibérico to fish Conservas and artisan cheeses.

The specials menu of Platillos Mediterraneos are dishes and ingredients from the Mediterranean coast. This cuisine is typical to the coastline that stretches from the French borders to Murcia and includes the Balearic Isles.

It is colourful healthy diet rich in fruit, vegetables, rice and pasta. Our menu brings you pasta and rice dishes typical of this area, salt cod salads, plus the Mar i Muntanya dishes - the proximity of the mountains and coast gave rise to dishes which combine ingredients from both. Our menu also offers for the first time in Britain a hand made Coca bread, the Catalan flatbread that is ideal for a true Pan con tomate.

 

Weekend special: ¡Calçotada!

The Calçotada is celebrated across Catalunya from late winter to early spring, with weekend parties dedicated to cooking and eating Calçots, a member of the onion family. Calçots are usually barbecued, then dipped in a Salvitxada or Romesco sauce, made with toasted almonds, grilled tomatoes, ñora peppers, garlic, vinegar, olive oil and bread. Dip the sweet, charred calçot in the warm spicy sauce, tip your head back and try to eat in one: it can be messy! Wash down with Cava or red wine.

New on our menu...

Cider house Txuleta

This is rib eye steak, as eaten in Basque cider houses. It comes from 6 year old animals, for fine flavoured meat which is quickly seared on the plancha.
