The word encurtido in Spanish refers to pickled foods, particularly vegetables, ranging from lupin seeds (altramuces) to baby gherkins (pepinillos), caperberries to garlic.

They provide flavour and textural contrast to a range of meats and cheeses. These pickled guindillas are sweet, oily, crunchy and have just a little heat.

Sweet chillies:
Sweet chillies (sulphites), water, extra virgin olive oil (3%), salt, spices, pH regulator: acetic acid, flavour enhancer: yeast extract and antioxidant: ascorbic acid.
Hot guindilla chillies:
Hot pickled chillies, water, salt, vinegar (sulphites), antioxidant: E330, acidity regulator: citric acid and preservative: E202.
Storage & Care
An average shelf life of approximately one year. Once opened, keep refrigerated below 8°C, covered or submerged in its marinade and use within 15 days. Not suitable for freezing
